Christians are called to two areas of service, to reach those outside with the gospel and to build each other up so that we can be encouraged and prepared to reach out. Our community groups have community service projects which are an important outreach to those outside.

 

iServe is our church's way of helping provide for growth within our community. At Apostolic Tabernacle we seek to create a culture of Gospel-driven service that welcomes and encourages individuals to exercise the gifts that God has given them to help build His Church. Gospel driven service begins with the redeeming work of God and seeks to extend His grace and mercy to others for His glory and not our own. Serving is an expression of love and grace marked by humility, generosity and hospitality and empowered by a passion for the glory of God. Service can and should be pursued in various ways by all recipients of varied grace. Those that want to be involved have countless opportunities to serve others and exercise their gifts through greeting, teaching, singing, volunteering in Kids ministry, or in Sunday Service ministries, etc. While serving within the church is only one place we can excercise our gifts, our hope for you is that through serving you will begin to experience the joy of sharing talents with the church.
